Maine Vacation Rental - This is a federal-style home located within walking distance to "downtown" Machias, Maine. It is probably about a mile, give or take, from the public boat launch near Helen's Restaurant on Route 1. It's a really cool old house that needs a little work in the cosmetic department but is otherwise safe and sound. I use this home for part of the summer and have three dogs, so I do not recommend it to anyone with dog allergies. It is available during
